What are my chances? (2013)

I am a high school senior who is nervous about college apps and my chances of admission.
was hoping I could get some insight on where I stand and what last minute advice I can get on how to improve my chances.

Intended major: Computer Engineering (maybe mechanical)
High School GPA: approx 3.76 (94 out of 100)
Class rank: don't rank
School location: long island, ny

Senior Schedule: Principals of engineering (elective), AP Gov, College Computer Science (post AP course/assisting the teacher/independent study), AP physics C, College English, AP Calc AB, orchestra (done all 4 years).

Extra Circulars: Play on baseball and basketball teams mostly outside of school (might play varsity B-ball this year), counselor at a summer camp (volunteer for 3 years, currently getting paid over the summer), assistant conformation teacher at local church, Just joined a FIRST robotics team this year, on and off ictus club and computer club, participated in a computer science competition (didn't win, hope to this year).
Awards: AP Scholar

Colleges considering applying to (some very loose consideration):
Suny Binghamton
R.I.T (Rochester)
Suny Stony-Brook (honors?)
Suny Buffalo (university)
Rice University (offered a fee waiver? even though probably don't have scores =/)
Georgia Tech
Cornell
Boston University
University of Pittsburgh
Carnegie Mellon (lol i wish =P)

Due to personal circumstances, I am not going to tell you what I think your chances are, but I think your best bet is to improve your SAT score. Also, I’d recommend aiming higher than 700s on your SAT IIs; if you study hard enough you can probably do better. Oh, and keep your grades up.

well yeah im aiming for 800’s but im trying to be realistic and assuming i will make a few mistakes… but yeah thanks for the euphemism for “your screwed” lol

I actually didn’t mean that. I don’t think you are, though again I can’t go into much greater detail. Basically, there’s someone I know in real life who doesn’t want me chancing people.

I do think you will get into at least a few of those schools if you work hard enough.

thanks… just kinda wanted a general idea of what i have a good shot at

bump…
