Want to study Mechanical Engineering (maybe CS).
—Applying to UIUC, UW-Madison, UM-Ann Arbor, Michigan St, Minnesota Twin Cities, Purdue, and Penn St.—
-Senior this year. Taking 4 APs including Calc BC and Physics 1, including PLTW Engineering Class.
-I have a 4.21 GPA (weighted), 3.83 (unweighted).

-Basketball and Tennis all 4 years of HS (Captain in both awarded senior year).
-National Honors Society 11 and 12.
-Part-Time Worker at grocery store durin 11 and 12 (including during COVID)
-Due to the timing of my SAT test that I took recently I did not submit SAT to:
UW-Madison
Michigan St
Minnesota Twin Cities
Purdue

Received SAT (got 1300), I know that mostly all of the colleges I am applying to want a higher SAT so other than maybe Penn St, I don’t think I should send my scores in.

I feel like I have good course rigor (10 APs) and my personal essay showcases my personal growth well.

Don’t send your scores. A 1300 is low for engineering or CS for these schools.

UW-Madison is test-optional this year. I recommend not sending your scores. Best of luck!
