<p>Essays: Pretty good I thought, I wrote about summoning up my courage to approach a girl in a club. Heavy references to T.S. Eliots poem, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock. I thought it was original and different, if not a bit fictitious.
Teacher Recs: Pretty good, my math teacher said I was one of the top 100 math students in the country.
Counselor Rec: Good (determined, intense, intelligent, humorous)
Hook (if any): Im Chinese who grew up in South Africa, maybe Rochester is looking for students of diverse backgrounds??? </p>

<p>I thought they didn't have any need-based aid for internationals - however, with your stats, I'd say you'll easily get one of those merit-based scholarships that they give. You don't need applications or anything, just have to sit and wait - although for one scholarship you actually had to have an interview if you were selected as a finalist. Or something. Can't remember.</p>
<p>Talking about aproaching a girl might hurt you, because all experts advise not writing that kind of essays. 'one of the top 100 math students in the country' and than scored 730 SAT I and 710 math1c i dont think so. How your teacher know that you are among 100 best math students?</p>
<p>Experts advise not writing a soppy essay dedicated to your gf/bf. I think mine was at least quite original and made references to some classical/contemporary literature; it also ended on a triumphant and positive note. So hopefully this wil help...</p>
<p>My teacher doesn't know and truth is I am not that good at maths, though I totally raped my final matriculation exams (different educational system).</p>
