My reach schools are

Stanford
Princeton
Brown
Vanderbilt
Johns Hopkins
University of Chicago

By the way, I also have safety schools.

I am a Caucasian female. I am from an extremely small, country town.

I am planning to apply in one of the sciences, but I'm still undecided as to which one. (I will decide after I take chemistry next year.)

My ACT score is a 28. (I was a freshman.) I am going to take the ACT again this year as a sophomore. I am expecting a 33++.

I have a 4.04 GPA, and I will have a 4.02 when I graduate. (If I earn all A's!)

I will be valedictorian or salutatorian. (My opponent and I are neck and neck.)

My school is extremely small, so we are not allowed to choose our classes. My school does not offer honors, AP classes, etc.
My freshman year is the only time we could take honors; it was only for a semester. There was a really hard math teacher, and my school separated those failing from those with a D or higher and called them honors. Am I going to have a problem applying to higher-tiered universities because of my lack of honors??? ( I'm really worried about it!)

I have played varsity soccer from 8th grade to 10th grade.

I am going to work at a local grocery store from 10th until I graduate. (I cannot do soccer practice and work.)

I will be volunteering in the summer. Will I have a problem because I did not volunteer until the end of my 10th grade year? ( I couldn't drive, and I didn't have a ride.)
Also, what would be a good place to volunteer?

Many of my teachers and I are on great terms, so my recommendations will be excellent.

I am still working on my essays. ( I am going to work on them, and I am going
to ask my English teacher to read them.) I will try to perfect these because I heard the essays can make or break an applicant.

Please give me any opinions. Also, I am so sorry I left anything out. Is there anything that I can do to increase my chances?

good luck!
