(I have written an essay briefly explaining why my GPA is so low).</p>

Interest: Business, Dietetics, Journalism (applied mainly looking to dual major in business/marketing and dietetics).</p>

Your EC’s and essay/rec sound good. Some of the higher echelon schools may be a reach with your low SAT and GPA, but honors is good. What do I really know??</p>
