If your classes meet Notre Dame's requirements, I think you have a decent chance. Another poster on here transferred and just built a website on how to do it. I am sure he will give you great advice. Good luck!

I'm sure Irish68178 will respond to this thread at some point in the near future...he's probably the best resource to specifically address the issues with transferring schools. If you didn't already bother to do so, scan through some of the old threads that deal with others in situations like this. Plus irish just put together a pretty comprehensive very good website....visiting it would be highly advisable...

that website if you didn't find it is

<a href="http://www.nd.edu/%7Emnadorff/transfer/%5B/url%5D">http://www.nd.edu/~mnadorff/transfer/</a></p>

I'm not really sure about transferring, but you involvement in community service looks good and should definitely help you in admissions.

Dang, everyone made it to the party before me. What they are saying is true, your grades are good enough (if you can push the GPA a bit higher it would be excellent but I think you are okay) and the EC's look great but the main thing is if you have the right classes because ND is really picky about that. I have quite a bit about that on the website but you can certainly email me and we can talk more about your specific situation. Click on my sn and email should be an option (or PM me or however you want to get in touch).

Also, something that is helpful to know is what to you hope to study at Notre Dame (as some colleges are not accepting transfers right now) and why do you want to transfer. It is always helpful in your essay to say why transferring to ND is appealing to you (I need to add that to the site, oops). Good luck and feel free to get in touch.
