What are my chances as a URM?

-3 years of Cross Country

-Member of Science, Math, and National Honor Society
-Member of Science olympiad, astronomy club, physics forum, academic team, habitat for humanity, red cross club, and math team

<p>legooo, you keep repeating that he/she’s Mexican when he/she even stated both his/her parents are Cuban. And yeah, Cuban Americans generally are more affluent than other hispanics.</p>

<p>nerd1215, have you taken the ACT? Your SAT is good, but for the schools you’re applying too, it might be a good idea to try to improve your scores.</p>

<p>A 2250 still wouldn’t guarantee entrance to these schools, though. I think I’m aware of what affirmative action is, being a soon-to-be senior URM with a 2290 SAT…</p>

<p>Decent chance. Our salutatorian had pretty much your same stats but was white… He got rejected. But due to the color of your skin, you stand a decent chance. ;P</p>

<p>Retaking the SAT will be very helpful for you. Just write amazing essays. :)</p>
