What are my chances as an inernational applicant??

Hi everyone,
I am so excited to write to you!!
So, I am Tunisian (Northern Africa-Arab-Below Italy).
Two months ago ,thanks to Amideast(USA EDUCATION CENTER), i've heard for the first time about the possibility of going to Study in the US.

And since Our family income can't be compared to the american lifestyle ,i've decided to aim high ,and have a shot at applying to the most selective colleges.
And to be honnest I've always dreamt to go to MIT or princeton or yale.

So, as for my capabilities (which is a bit hard to translate to the american educational system) let me first tell you that english is my THIRD language after arabic and french and i speak german too.

Ok ,the Sat , I haven't took it yet but a practise site offers a predicatble minimum score, all i had to do was having a diagnostic in the 3 sections and then practise for two hours, and i received a minimum score of 2200: 780Math-720 Reading-700Writing,
but i know that with some practise i could have 2300+ easily.

As for my academics i am the top of my pionner high scholl(top 3 HS in the country) ,and my GP varies from 90 -94 (i have to say compared to my country HS's, my school is pretty competitive), and in my senior school (that's when my peers and i start working seriously i can have 97/100).

As for my extracurricular activities: i play chess ,tennis, and MAth olympiads in addition to mathematical games,(top in the country and going to compete in the international in france with great chances).I have many other extra-currilcular activitites but didn't have a good position .

SO, i am still thinking of the essay and reading some books(HArry Potter Dan Brown and sometimes shakespeare) .Toefl llokks easy ,as for the sat Subject tests ,i'll have to prepare the new english scientific vocabulary)

So as an international student :what are my chances at Mit or Princeton ?
and Thanks !!

NB:just wonna add for EC's
*could be in Model Un
*could get in the IMO 2012
*Going to the international mathematical games(hopefully:it's easy)
*Kangoroo competition: first in the country(math)

All in All, it's not as if i wanted a percentage of chance, i just wanted a moral lift, to know whether may dream has anything of concrete, to know whether i am ever going to get even a bit closer to my everlasting dream. So that i won't crash when i receive rejection!!
THANKS...

You didn’t say what major you want to do .
I’m arabic too BTW .
A peice of advice : consider the university city in Doha, Qatar .
They have the best American colleges over there (( Cornell , Texas A&M , carnegie mellon , Georgetown , northwestern , Virginia Commonwealth )) , University of london , and HEC Paris .
I think Qatar is better since your financial status doesn’t fit to the American lifestyle as you said previously .
Best of luck (;

Another peice of advice : never say I’m good at the SAT until you take the real one and get a good score in it .

Thanks for the warning about the SAT i am aware of the difference eventhough math won’t be a problem i’ll have to practise for CR and writing
However as i already said I am aiming to the need-blind colleges:no financial problems
as for the majot :::ENGINEERING
BTW where are you from FREEDOM EAGLE

Exactly , math is always not a problem , but the real issue is crtical reading (( that’s for me ))
Anyway gd luck , and as I told you before , really consider applying to Texas A&M in Qatar , since you’re tyinking about engineering .
I’m actually Syrian , but I live in the UAE .
BTW my English teacher is Tunisian (;

Thanks FreedomEAgle for your response but the thing about these schools and the reason why i am applying to them is the need-blind policy!!!

Will I know that , you mentioned that allready , and i mentioned Texas A&M Q because it also has a need blind policy .
Good luck anyway (; . Hope you get in the college of your dreams (; .
