What are my chances at a FSU scholorship?

What are my chances of recieving an University Freshman Scholorship ($9600) or the 21st Century Scholorship ($8000)? I just finished my application to enter Fall of 2011, hoping that if I applied on the early deadline I would have a better chance. I am a 4.0 gpa student (5.3 unweighted), and have taken about 6 AP classes (earned college credit in all of them) and am taking AP classes three my senior year while also dual enrolling. I am in the top 5 of my class and have about 108 community service hours. My SAT score was a 1960 and my ACT score was a 30. Thanks!

You have a really good shot at getting the $9600 one unless something has changed entirely between now and last year. I got a 1970 on the SAT but with a lower GPA and received that one (although they took it away when applying a larger one).

Oh and I don’t know what you mean by 5.3 unweighted… What is that out of in total?

oops sorry, I meant 5.3 weighted…
What larger scholorship did you recieve?

You have a good chance at the University Scholarship, but it is a competitive process so the EARLIER you apply the better your chances.

The National Merit/Achievement one

Crap, so I should finish the app ASAP and have my counselor send my transcripts to have a better chance at getting more money and maybe a tuition waiver? I’m out of state.

Thanks. If I apply by say, Sept 20, when do you think I’ll hear about my admissions decision? I’m assuming the money, if any, will come later.

Thanks again.

Apply ASAP. The scholarship monies run out.

ok, I’m going to try to have my app sent in by this Friday.
