what are my chances at Berkeley or UCLA?

So I'm a junior currently attending the top ranked public high school in CA. The academic pressure and rigor of the classes is quite high. My weighted GPA (if I'm able to maintain my grades) will probably come out to be around 3.8-4.1 with 3.8 being worst case and 4.1 being best.

In addition my extra curriculars seem to be okay: I'm a third degree black belt, I teach at my Tae Kwon Do center. I've also been dancing for the past thirteen years. I'm president of a political awareness club at my school. I'm also assistant convention coordinator for the state in the organization that my political awareness club is a chapter of. I'm also going to be participating this summer in an internship at NASA. And, I will probably accumulate 500+ hours of community service by the time I have to fill out my application.

Also, I haven't recieved my SAT scores back yet, but I usually score a 2200 on my practice tests.

So... what are my chances?

Thanks!

I don't usually chance people, because I think you should just apply and let the chips fall, and CC'ers always make you feel like crap anyway. BUT, I think you have a really good change at UCLA and ok, but not so good at Cal as at UCLA.

Oh yeah, and it's "i" before "e" except after "c".

Good chances.

Your GPA is slightly weak, and your ECs are average. Your volunteering is very good. But it's a bit too early to tell your chances. I'd say you're on the right track. Try to gain some honors/awards and become as involved in what you like as you can. Repost again when you have all this + subject test scores, etc. at the end of your junior year.

Have you fulfilled the A-G course requirements, or will you before you graduate? If your answer is no, you have basically no chance at any UC/CSU as that's a big factor in their decision of whether or not you're "eligible".

Yeah, I've planned out my course load for the rest of high school and by the time I apply, I'll have completed all the A-G course requirements.

Oh and I forgot a couple of EC's:
Link Crew
Selective leadership class in my school (Youth Services Commissioner)
I started a Youth in Action Group in my town (we adopted a village in Africa and hold fundraisers to send them food medical supplies, etc.)
