what are my chances at binghamton?

<p>I was wondering what my chances were at binghamton.</p>

<p>I have an 89.58 avg unweighted
RANK 69/270
91.11 weighted
I got an 1880 on my first sats (still waiting for second scores)
540 reading 760 math 580 writing</p>

<p>extra curricular :
fbla club, spanish club, international culture club, volunteer at sports clinic
played for basketball league,
worked as an advertiser, and a tutor at Kumon</p>

<p>Ive been in honors math and science throughout highschool
junior year > ap bio
senior year : AP stats, AP PSYCH, AP CHEM</p>

<p>I APPLIED EARLY ACTION WITH A BIOCHEM MAJOR
DOES PICKING A HARD MAJOR DECREASE YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING IN
SHOULD I CALL THEM AND CHANGE IT TO UNDECIDED?</p>

<p>I'm guessing Bing might be a little bit of a stretch, but not outside the realm of possibility. My concern is your rank (top 1/4 of class), slightly lower than average avg. (Bing's average is 92/93 something like that) and lower verbal SAT. Applying EA will definitely help the cause, but major won't matter. A Harpur major is a Harpur major, they really don't pay that much attention when reviewing because it is so easy to change majors.</p>

<p>Keep positive about getting into Bing, but be sure you have a safety lined up.</p>
