I am a rising senior with a 3.8 UW/4.25 weighted GPA (so far). I have taken every AP and honors class my school offers except Latin, I take Spanish. Junior year was actually my best academic year, getting straight A's both semesters. I play a varsity sport (two years), am VP of NHS, mentor, tutor, leadership facilitator at my school, ambassador, and two-year chief editor of our nationally recognized literary magazine. Additionally, I have won awards all throughout my high-school career: student of the year multiple times, college recognitions, and high honors every semester. My SAT was a composite 2060 (660 math, 710 reading, 690 writing) and I have only taken it once. I am out-of-state though I can't see any advantage otherwise since it is private. I want to be in the mechanical engineering program there, specializing in aerospace, and possibly minor or major in some sort of management. Anyways, what do you think my chances are? Thanks!
