What are my chances at Brown Early Decision with no hook?

<p>Brown is my dream school and i love everything about it but I hear stories of people who have done these amazing Ecs and won all these awards, which I haven't. All I have are my grades. Im a white, upper middle class American, never had any major event in my life that I could write about. I go to a private Catholic High school in Connecticut</p>

<p>GPA UW: 3.93 Weighted: 4.3
SAT: 2150 ACT: 31
SAT II Bio: 740 SAT II History: 750</p>

<p>Taken every AP and Honors class available
Top 5 % of my class, don't know exactly where</p>

<p>ECs: Member of Christian Student Mission Club- we do service projects at hospitals and food banks -3 years
Member of Changing Attitudes About People- Self Explanatory - 3 years
Member of Math Team, we made it to the state championships but lost- 3 years
Table Tennis- 4 years
Millard Fillmore Political Action- Freshman Year(Club was disbanded after that year)
National Honor Society all years I was eligible
Spanish Honor Society
Tri M music honor society
Founder of my school's chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, a math honor society
Concert Band and Marching Band all 4 years
1st degree black belt in Shotokan karate, don't do it anymore, however
HOBY regional leadership seminar
National Spanish Exam
went to brown's summer program</p>

<p>I know I want to major in economics and possibly something else. I love Brown's open curriculum. I just don't have all these huge things that I was honored for. I study diligently and focus my effort on that. I just read about some other person who is working in submarines and receiving awards from the governor! I don't have any of that. I know I can do the work and succeed but I just don't have that.</p>

<p>Well no matter what it’s still a reach, but academically you are within range. Your ECs are decent but nothing really stands out so make sure you write amazing essays.</p>

<p>Decent EC’s, but nothing too spectacular outside of your academics. Be sure to write good essays. Brown is a reach.</p>
