What are my chances at CalTech or just for fun, MIT

I will be graduating high school with a 3.7 unweighted gpa and 4.5 weighted gpa. I will be top 20 of a class of 700. My extracurricular activities are president of NHS club at this school, Eagle Scout, 2 silver Eagle Palms, tutoring at local library one summer, 2 summer internships at Blizzard, 3 years in both robotics and computer science club, IB club, Spanish clib, and volunteered at the local library itself. Next would be my achievements which include IB Diploma, California Seal of Biliteracy(in Spanish), Honors Diploma at local community college and an associates in Physics and Computer Sciences as well as what ever else degrees come along with the classes needed for those two which will be gotten a year after I graduate highschool. Finally ACT is 35 and SAT is 1580.

Now let me explain what I want to do and some of the things I have listed. I would really love to go to CalTech for computer science and physics(double major). The reason my gpa is so low is because starting sophomore year I was taking classes at community college so I didn’t always get an A bit never got a C. That and I didn’t care to much about academics freshmen year because my parents didn’t push it to much. I think I should have decent but I really don’t know. Please let me know.

It will be a reach-GPA is low although the standardized test scores are there. Most applicants to CalTech/MIT will have participated in AIME/AMC and I don’t see that listed.

I am impressed by the 2 Silver Palms though-over 50 merit badges is a major commitment. I couldn’t get my son to add a Bronze Palm to his Silver before he aged out.

Are you in a middle college program by any chance? Also if you get an Associate’s degree you could be theoretically considered a transfer student if you are not dual enrolled.

Add some match schools (UCs, etc).

Wondering if you have a hook like athlete, first gen, athlete, from North Dakota or legacy. Those of course would increase your chance.
