What are my chances at Carnegie Mellon Computer Science Program

I am a junior in High School. I go to one of the top 80 high schools in the state of Texas and am number 11/415 kids in my class.

I am taking all advanced classes and my senior course load consists of: AP English IV, AP Gov/Econ, AP Physics C, AP Calc AB, AP Computer Science, Independent Study of Computer Languages (learn C++), Oral Interpretation (Speech part of speech and debate), and Varsity Theatre III (have to audition and have been in since sophomore year).

I have taken: AP Biology(3), AP World History(4)

My Extracurriculars consist of: NHS(National Honor Society), ITS (International Thespian Society - President), Speech, Plays (have been in 9 and a lead in 6 thus far), UIL Computer Science competition team, school mentor, and I have over 150 hours of community service (plan to get way more).

My Scores consist of:

SAT: Have tested in range of 1900 - 2250 (I take it officially in May)
ACT: Have tested in range of 30 - 34 (I take it officially in June)

What are my chances at Carnegie Mellon’s Computer Science Department?

I am enrolled in: AP Chem, AP English III, AP Physics B, AP US History

Why not Ut austin it’s a great program for cs and gpa?

That is my back up 100% but I want to at least try at the big name schools

I have been accepted to CMU SCS for this year. Check out my stats on previous threads.

Can you send me the link to the thread? @viphan
