Your gpa is fine and your ECs are good! However, while your SAT score is great, it’s not on the same level as the SAT scores Columbia may want. I suggest taking the SAT again—study hard and try to get it to at least 2200+ You may have a chance! Good luck!!!

Sorry I don’t think you could get into Columbia with those scores. Also, your EC’s and volunteer work show nothing that stands out among everyone else, so that doesn’t help either. But you’ll definitely get into a top 30 ranked college, especially if you bring the sat score up

chances are slim to none with that sat score. if you bring it up 300 points or more, youll havea good shot at good schools like columbia

Remember that you need two SAT II scores for Ivy Leagues including Columbia. See what the requirements are for your major.

Best of luck.

It’s a reach with that SAT score. The chances are bleak. Remember, it’s an Ivy with a GREAT location. Bump that SAT to around 2200 to have a slight chance.

Thanks everybody for your help! I plan on taking the SAT again, and actually study this time, haha. I am taking SAT IIs as well. Thanks again!!! :)
