What are my chances at Cornell?

I am a first-year student at McGill University at the moment. I want to transfer to Cornell beginning 2nd year. I have a 3.75 GPA with the same curriculum that Cornell has for its chemical engineering freshmen (obviously what I want to transfer in to). My extracurriculars (at university) include heavy involvement in karate and part of a competing engineering formula 1 car team. During the summer, I'm heavily involved in other sports, such as cricket and golf. I'm playing on the 2nd division team, almost at the provincial level. I also spent 2.5 months in Germany on exchange to learn the language. I scored 2140 on the SAT Reasoning Test and 800 on Chemistry SAT II and 730 on the Math Level II. Considering my essay and recommendation letter are of a good quality, what do you think my chances are at admission as a transfer student applying for academic year 2009/2010 at Cornell for chemical engineering are?

Wild guess? Even money.

What's that mean?

Since the number of applicants seems to be rising every year, what do you think my chances are? For mid-term report, I have a 4.0 GPA and I had 3.75 GPA for first semester and the same extracurriculars as listed above. I'm also taking all 200 level courses which are second-year engineering courses. Some of the courses I'm taking in first-year now aren't required until 2nd year and some, until 3rd year in Cornell. I really want to get in and my essay and recommendation are quite good. I got my essay edited by one of the guys who went to my high school, then to McGill, to Cornell and then to Columbia. He's part of the interviewing committee for Cornell. What are my chances? Just want to know what to expect before I complete my application within this month.
