<p>Hey, I am a white male from Georgia, and I was wondering what are my chances at Emory (ed)?</p>

<p>Sat: 2200
GPA: 3.97 uw/numeric average: 95
(11 A.P's and 8 Honors)
Sat II's: Chemistry: 780, Math IIc: 780, APUSH: 740</p>

<p>President of Habitat for Humanity/member and officer(11-12)
President of FBLA/member and officer-(10-12)
Captin of debate team/ member(11-12)
Class council vice president/class rep./secretary(10-12)
Captain of hockey team(9-12)
Captain of crew team/Top 5 in state(9-12)
Citizens of the world: Vice President/President(10-12)
Officer of NHS(11-12)
member of SNHS/officer(10-12)
member of SADD(9)
Community Service hours: 500+
Many other awrds
Worked through out high school</p>

<p>UR IN, if ur a male, ur chances are jumped up, if you apply ED, ur in buddy, I WOULD BE SCHOCKED IF YOU DO NOT GET IN. THE ED rate for EMory is like 65 percent, some ridiculous percentage. Some kids in my school have gotten in Emory ED with 1250 and 88 GPA. For regular, the stakes are much higher. I got in regular, but I had a 1450 SAT, veryyy high average.</p>

<p>I would say that as well, since I wasn't waitlisted with only a 1370 and a ok GPA (95).</p>

<p>yeah i did get off the waitlist like 10-15 days later, but I never even VISITED EMORY, nor did I even own a booklet about the school, nor did i know one thing about the school. I took one of my acadmic essays and pluged in Emory for Northwestern, Cornell, Rice, Duke, etc. and that was my demonstrated interest in Emory. I was even told not to apply if I didn't visit, and I still got in. so, P!</p>
