*Air Force Academy and Naval Academy are my first choices.

All the UC's
Cal poly

Georgia Tech
Any other schools that I should look at?
I can afford basically any college because my dad has the GI bill.

Note: I moved right after my sophomore year of high school into my junior year when my dad retired my the air force to be closer to DIA, so my grades haven't been to great this semester, lots of Bs in AP classes

thanks guys so much, sorry about all the projects on my grades, just trying to see what my chances will be when I actually apply.

I don’t know much about Air Force Academy and Naval Academy, but I think I have heard that they are hard to get into, so maybe bringing up your GPA and SAT/ACT scores will help. Also, if you are a recruited athlete, you have a very nice hook going for you, so I am in a real pickle here. It would really come down to how good you are at the sport, and/or if you can raise some of your academics such as your GPA and your SAT or ACT scores. Until now, though, I would say that UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCD, Cal Poly SLO, and Georgia Tech are reaches to high reaches, and I am not too familiar with some of the other ones you mentioned. However, I would be willing to say that you could be a match for UCI if you bring your GPA (main), and your SAT/ACT scores (these scores are weighed lower than the GPA in the admissions process, but very slightly, so they are still a major, major factor.)

1) Will you be able to afford the OOS costs for Cal Poly ($30K/year) or UC’s ($55K/year) with little to no financial or merit aid?
2) I agree with above poster, that for Cal Poly/UCLA/UCB/UCSD/UCD/UCI/UCSB, you need a higher GPA and ACT score. Aim for a weighted GPA of 4.0+ and ACT of around 30+ along with writing outstanding essays. If you are recruited athlete, that will definitely help with costs and admission.

I suggest you pursue the recruited athlete hook, along with retaking for the ACT and repost your Stats at the end of Junior year. Here is the UC GPA calculator link (you can only use AP classes 10-11th grade for you extra Honors points in the calculation) and also make sure you meet the a-g required courses for the UC’s.

<a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Thanks guys on the response. I’ll be sure to get my ACT score and GPA much higher, or at least, as high as I can get it to.

According to Roger Hub my current UC GPA is 3.86

Whats a Gi bill?

Gi bill Is for people that served in the military. It’s pays for 4 years of college. Since my dad isn’t going to be using it, he is using it for me.
