I have a 3.7 Unweighted GPA and a 4.8 Weighted GPA
My super scored ACT would be a 25 with (21=English, 23= Math, 29= Reading, 25= Science and 8 on the Essay)
SAT was pretty bad 1540 ):
I have taken 4 AP Classes by the end of senior year (AP American History and AP English and Language Composition and currently taking AP Calculus and AP Government by the end of senior year).
I am also currently taking a Dual Enrollment ENC 1101 and 1102 for Florida International University at my high school.
Any other classes that are core classes has been all honors except for electives.
Took to years of Foreign Language (Spanish)
I have 100 Community Service hours, am in 2 clubs as of right now (Pre-Medicine Committee and DYFIT)
I ran track and cross country my sophomore and junior year as well.
My class rank is 85 Percentile, so I am top 15% out of 980 students in my senior class.
Ethnicity: Asian
I have never taken a regular core class before, just honors and if not, AP and DE but I'm scared that my scores are way too low ):
I have another ACT score coming in but I'm not sure if I did any better on that one.
I applied before the October 15 Deadline and for the summer term of 2015. I submitted an essay reviewed by my writing teacher as well.

I think you should be good! You have a very very high gpa that is perfect for fsu. Your superscored act makes the cut for FSU’s average, so I really do not think it is anything to worry about. But hopefully your new one was higher! Best of luck!

Thanks! I have been so stressed about getting into my dream school, I really hope I can get it in.

I think you have a 25% chance… Your test scores are a bit low.

D:

According to the 2013 Admission Data, you have a 25% chance with a 25 on the ACT. Additionally, I don’t believe that FSU super scores their exams as well. However, since you applied for the summer your chances of getting in increase and if you were to bring your ACT composite up to a 26 or 27, I think it would help immensely. Hope that helps!

Your class rank and GPA is great! Your only weak point are your standardized tests. If you get your ACT scores up a bit I think you’ll definitely get in, and if they don’t go up, you still have a great chance of admission.

Ugh, I hate my test scores. I am horrible at these tests, by far my weakest point ): I really hope FSU looks past my scores and more into my Class Rigor and GPA.

Your GPA and rank are in the upper echelon for FSU. Try getting your ACT up a bit, but as long as your essays show that you fit, you should have no problem as you stand :)

Thanks man, I know my ACT scores arnt that good unfortunately ): I’m relying on my GPA and etc. to get me in

Thanks you for chancing me I was reading your thread earlier and the first thing I thought was that you had a good chance. Fortunately standardized tests aren’t a colleges top decision maker while looking at an application because some people (like me) aren’t able to show their intellience through a timed test. Your GPA makes the cut for FSU and if you write a stellar essay I’m sure you have a high chance. Best of luck to ya!

I don’t know what to think about my chances as of now ):

Your gpa is great and your ECs are pretty good too.
Your test scores are a bit low, so make sure your essays are stellar! Good Luck!

I think you have a really good chance. Your GPA is amazing along with your ECs. SAT may want to come up a bit but I still think that you’re in great shape to get in :)

You’ve got the rigorous course load and great GPA going for you, but I think you have to consider doing more extracurriculars, especially through senior year. If your essays are good, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about lower standardized scores since schools weigh the GPA more anyway. You look like you’re a good fit since it seems like you’re in state

Good luck!

Thanks! And I am in state
