I have not yet posted on this site before. So let me start off by saying that I would like to get into a college of y choice, preferably, UC San Diego. However, my sophomore and freshman year GPA isn't so good. Its about a 3.0 GPA but I attended an International School located in Brussels, Belgium. It was very different from the school I attend currently and much harder. No I am a public school in California, and my GPA is very high. I have a 4.4 for the last semester of my junior year and a 3.8 for the first semester. I also had taken three AP exams and passed all of them, which include physics, environmental science, and english. I had taken APUSH in tenth but didn't pass the exam, due to a poor teacher I had who never even talked to us about DBQ's. This year, I am taking AP Lit and AP Calc, it is hard but my GPA is pretty good, like my junior year. But my question is, will I be able to get into the college of my choice with this academic performance? Please help. No one knows about this subject in my social circle. And the last thing is that I have been a member of MESA, and have had four sciences and a lot of math as well.

I have much more information about my education if you need it. And I apologize if I have spelling errors as I am writing on a labtop with a cracked screen.

Thanks!
