What are my chances at getting into Middlebury?

Hi, I just completed my junior year and I attend a competitive, private, all-boys Preparatory School in Massachusetts. My first language is English; however, I am also fluent in Portuguese and almost fluent in Spanish. My parents are both immigrants (my father is from the Azores and my mother is from Brazil). I will also be a first generation college student.

I plan to write my essay about my experiences of living in both Brazil and the Azores for months at a time and visiting my cousins there.

Current GPA: Around 4.1

Total AP Classes throughout all 4 years of high school: 6

Total Honors Classes throughout all four years: 7

My grades have gotten progressively better over the years, and my classes have moved up drastically (i.e. from lower classes to AP classes).

SAT Reasoning Test: (I'm not the best test-taker...This is after my first time taking them with no preparation prior)
CR: 560 (I know this is unacceptable for a college as competitve as Middlebury, but I'm working very hard to raise this at least into the 600s)
MT: 640 (I'm trying to bring this up to the high 600s and ideally 700)
WR: 700

SAT II Spanish:N/A
SAT II Math I:N/A
SAT II Math II:N/A

EXTRA CURRICULARS (I have many more, but these are the most appealing ones)

National Honor Society Member

Spanish National Honor Society Member

Model United Nations (President, Committee Chair, and recipient of best delegate award at Boston College High School Conference)

Portuguese and Brazilian Cultural Club (President and Founder)

2 Awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement in English

National Spanish Exam Gold Medalist

Division I Rugby Player

Division I Football Player

School Retreat Leader

Student Director of Improv Acting Group

Volunteer Youth Basketball Coach

I have participated in many benefit walks (Cancer walk, MSPCA Walk for Abused animals, and 5 others)

I also participated in a 5-Day, overnight service immersion in Boston's China Town District

Teacher Recommendations: Both will be superbly written. One will be written by my Spanish teacher whom I have had both freshman and junior year and am told writes an awesome rec., and the other by either my junior year physics teacher or my senior year English teacher whom I am also told writes and incredible recommendation. Also, my freshman English teacher is an alum of Middlebury and I have maintained a great relationship with her the past 2 years. I am thinking of possibly asking her to write a special recommendation for me as she did for a friend of mine who now attends Middlebury. I was her favorite student and got straight A+'s in her class. She also gave me one of the English awards for academic excellence that I mentioned earlier under my EC's...

So, given that, what are my chances of getting into Middlebury...? Say if my SAT scores don't improve... will I still have a shot?

Thanks

Also, what would my chances be if I applied Early Decision? Would it help, hurt, or do nothing to the Admission office’s decision?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I will also not be applying for financial aid…

I am also planning to participate in a Spanish foreign exchange program during my senior year…

I really hope my GPA and my expertise in language and my passion for it will overshadow my poor SAT scores…

low-ish…thgh you are a URM and you go to a prep school…that helps

why no finaid?

Well i don’t absolutely need finaid, so it would only really be a courtesy. I figured not applying for it would maybe make my chances better…

Middlebury is need blind, I think. So it doesn’t even matter if you do apply. -_-
