Hey guys
What are my chances of getting into UT Austin? I’m trying to get into the Moody School of Communications (not sure how hard that is to be accepted into) for Corporate Communications or Business Undeclared. I’ve already been accepted into UT Dallas for business, but I’d really like to get into UT Austin since it’s my top choice!!
Texas resident, public high school
GPA: 3.95 (on a 4.0 scale)
Top 18% (rank 95/527)
All AP courses including AP Spanish 5, AP Calculus AB, AP Stats, and AP Music theory
ACT score: 30; SAT score: 1850 (probably will not submit this one)
Piano student for 10+ years, 4 of these years at a program at Rice U
HOSA nationalist, FCCLA nationalist, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, National Spanish Honor society, AP Scholar
Contemporary Arts Museum Teen Council Member
~200 hours of community service at St. Luke Hospital-Texas Heart Institute in the Stem Cell Center, Museum of Fine Arts, public library, and others
I think my essays are on the pretty good side? But then again, never sure 
I’ve heard that nobody really knows what UT Austin looks for…last year at my school a top 10% girl got CAP’d but someone in the top 30% got in
