You have the golden ticket. Good test scores, good rigor of classes, pretty decent ECs, plus the URM factor. Likely in at all of your schools.

Very impressive and congratulation on all that you have done. You definitely do have a shot but they are highly selective schools that turn away qualified applicants. Do come up with some safeties for your list and please take cost into account. UVA might be more of a match then the others if you are in state. Good luck and you look like the type of person who will be successful no matter where they go.

Very impressive but Harvard, Yale, Wharton, and Columbia will be reaches for anyone. If you are a VA resident, you are a shoe in for UVA. Overall, I definitely think you are a competitive applicant and you should apply and see what happens, but don’t expect a guaranteed acceptance.

@Collegeboi1099 Harvard, Yale, Penn, Columbia of course are reaches for anyone but you definitely have a competitive profile. I agree that you seem like a shoo-in or UVA.
I can speak on for Penn, and say that your profile fits very well into what Penn is usually looking in tis applicants and also the school culture and vibe. I would say that is true for Harvard and Columbia. Yale is a bit less pre-professional.

apply to Penn ED for the best shot, it is the best school you listed for business.

-Certiport Certified in Microsoft Excel 2013 and Microsoft Word 2013

What is this?

@kjake2000 It’s an online certification program for Word and Excel

Just got the Yale Book Award! Does that help any?

yes it does!!! @collegeboi1099 you have a great chance getting into any ivy you wish to get into!!! great job on all your accomplishments! It’s pretty cut and dry from here… you’re iconic you’ll get in! Chance me back?

Can you afford all these schools?

And have you chosen any lower reaches and matches (aside from UVA), and at least one safety?

@prezbucky Northwestern, Georgetown, UNC Chapel Hill, UGA.

OK - UGA would be your safety if you are in-state. OOS I might call it a low match. Regardless, you’re probably getting in.

Northwestern is probably a borderline reach/low reach for you – this last year their RD acceptance rate was around 8-9%.

Georgetown is probably a low reach, with an acceptance rate around 15% (little difference between EA and RD).

UNC-CH would probably be a high match if you are an OOS applicant.

I think your chances at most schools are going to be higher than the admit rate of the round you’re applying in because your stats/ECs are strong and you’ll get a bump for URM status at most private schools (not sure about publics…).

@2smart4u Haha just study over the summer for it! Take all practice tests the CollegeBoard provides.

@prezbucky @Penn95 What would you say is the strongest part of my profile?
