Everything is great…except for your SAT. It is just 10 points above the lower 25% end of the range. If you can raise this to at least 2100, you’ll have a great chance. Otherwise, as it stands, that SAT score is a tough hurdle.

I am also applying early decision and got a 32 on my ACT…does that increase my chances at all? Thank you so much for replying by the way, this whole process is completely nerve wracking.

Your application looks amazing, except for the SAT like pixels said. Having grades as good as you do, you definitely improve your SAT and probably ACT score. With a 32, you probably can get in since your gpa and EC’s are high quality. Improving your test scores would help to ensure your acceptance for sure.

I think it looks pretty good except for the SAT I. I applied for JHU last year and got in with stats lower than yours (like MUCH lower especially the GPA). I believe you will have to submit both the SAT I and the ACT to JHU.

However, JHU looks more highly upon your 1st semester 10th grade to 1st semester 12th grade the most and I believe looks highly upon trends in your overall GPA and your individual classes (like English separate, math separate, etc) as well (obviously an upward is better than a downward)

So I would think you’re pretty especially if you’re applying ED (I didn’t).

Do you think that they might be a little more lenient on my SAT score if I write really good essays? Does it help to go for an interview?
