Im planning on studying Biology and being a member of the pre-med program.

What are my chances at NYU, or Pitt, or BU, or any top pre-med program?

For pitt, your chances same pretty good. NYU and BU a little less so. Do you have your apps in already? I got an acceptance to pitt awhile ago. But don’t fret, pitt has a wonderful pre-med program and a lot of scholarship opportunities.

pitt’s premed program is def good, especially with the med center at your doorstep.
i dont think your stats are up to nyu or bu’s average, but you never know

Are those the only 3 schools that you’re applying to?

I don’t think you should go to NYU even if you get in. If your goal is to get into med school, then you need to go where you’ll get the best GPA. Since maintaining a high GPA is an issue for you, going to NYU where you’ll be competing against kids who have much higher stats than you will be a problem

Besides, unless your family will pay all costs for NYU, it won’t likely be affordable.

Do you need financial aid? If so, both BU and NYU are NOT good with aid.

I don’t think your stats are high enough for merit scholarships at UPitt.
