bump. anyone?

hi i’m not too good at this but i’d say u look ohkay for the lower UC schools, nyu, umich, usc
bc and emory are slight reaches, just get your sat score up
i think cornell, berkeley, washu, and georgetown will be a bit of a stretch
and idk about claremont

Your weighted GPA is definitely low for some of your schools and the SAT needs to be brought up. Your ECs are decent, but nothing stands out (from my angle at least; maybe you can convey something different in your essays). Here’s what I think:

UC Schools (Berkeley - Reach, LA - Reach, SD - Reach, Davis - Match)
NYU - Low Reach
USC - High Match/Low Reach
Boston College - Low Reach
Claremont McKenna - Match/High Match
Georgetown - Reach
Cornell - High Reach
Emory - Reach
Washington University - Reach
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor - Low Reach

Get your SATs up and you’ll stand a better chance at some of those low reaches. Good luck! Chance me back? : http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/539705-yo-chance-dis-indian-kid.html

its so funny how we’re trying to go to similar schools and we have like similar stats

haha im aiming for

nyu stern
umich ross
cornell hotel
emory
BC

my s.a.t is 2270
gpa UW - 3.5

sat2 math2c -800
u.s - 740

i’m also head delegate of Model U.N.
i go to t.j.

my counselor said i should should get into all those school expect maybe cornell because hotel is crazyyyyyyyyyyy

anyways if you raise you’re s.a.t score i’m sure you’ll get in

yo kevinobrien…your counselor may be overly optimistic

A 3.5 UW GPA drastically decreases your acceptance % at the selective schools you mentioned.

kids from my school get into every ivy with 3.5 uw some even lower MUCH LOWER

I calculated my unweighted gpa, it’s a 3.73. Anyone else want to chance me/ give me some advice on schools in my range?
