What are my chances at NYU?

Hey guys!
So NYU is my clear dream school and I am trying everything I can do in my power to get in-- I plan on applying Early Decision I but am currently a junior in high school.
My numbers are slightly low due to my freshman year, 3.2 uw 3.3 w. Without my freshman year however I would have a 3.6/7 w.
I am taking the SAT's in two days and next month and am currently in tutoring I plan to get around 2000-2100 (my practice test score range) and I plan on doing the ACT's as well, hopefully a 30+.
By the time I graduate I will have finished 7 honors courses and 4 AP's.
For my EC's
worked part time 3 years
Middle East Appreciation Club 2 years
School Paper 3 years (hopefully an editor for one)
President of environmental club 1 year, member 3
Model UN 2 years
Varsity Dance 2 years
Cheerleading 1 year out of school
I will start volunteering at the local library soon as well.

also i know NYU really appreciates culture I have 3 citizenships (Canadian, American, and Croatian) and I plan to write my essay on how my parents escaped the Bosnian War as refugees and how that has impacted my life and learning process. I am also fluent in Croatian and will finish AP French by the time I graduate.
Finally I want to major in Global Journalism and International Affairs.

Thank you so much!!!

Your SAT is looking good for NYU but your GPA could use some improvement. Also, make sure you take APs next year. I would say NYU is a low reach school for you.
Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1646920-please-chance-me-i-will-chance-back.html#latest

also what other schools should i consider if nyu is too much of a reach, i’m having trouble finding another school similar that i like with much lower standards.

its always tough when we don’t have an ACTUAL standardized test score to work with. as of now, your chances look pretty solid. but ask again once u have firm scores. theres a pretty big difference from a 2000 to a 2100 when it comes to college admissions. best of luck
