Yeah the 1340 and 4.1 are just too low
I had a 3.9 UW gpa, a 4.8 W gpa, and a 1270 SAT. I took 12 AP classss in total, had weak extracurriculars, and strong essays and I got in. But someone with an 1180 SAT, 3.6 GPA, and half as many APs as me also got in. So there are many factors that can play a role in your decision. You do have a chance of getting in. Perhaps the admissions officers will find something that stands out in your application, but not find anything special about another application with a 1540 SAT and 4.0 gpa.
