I'm a rising senior, and I was just wondering what my chances are at these colleges? I figured this was the place to be neurotic.

I am planning on applying to Penn State, Smith College, and the University of Washington Seattle-- I have a few others picked out but these are my main choices.

Among them, Smith is definitely definitely my top school. I feel as though I am getting myself too worked up for it when I probably won't get in.

Here are my stats:

SAT I: 1770- CR: 630 Math: 540 Writing: 600
*I do plan on taking it again in October.

No SAT II's yet but I might take them if it'll help...

ACT: Not taking it.

GPA (UW): 3.75-3.8

Class Rank: Last I checked I was in the top 13%

AP Course-load: APUSH (completed junior year) AP Calc (senior year) AP Psychology (senior year)

The only other AP course my school offers (that I can take) is AP Spanish, and I dropped it so I can take something that interests me more: creative writing.

AP Scores: I'll update when it comes in.

Honors: My school doesn't offer any honors classes but I've been in this program offered in my area where I've taken college-level English courses at the local community college since I was in 8th grade.

Volunteer:
Various activities in middle school in the National Junior Honor Society
Best Buddies 8th grade
150 hours of community service at the local hospital (every summer since sophomore year)
Peer Leader (led upcoming 9th graders on school tour)
Various Activities for Student Government

Extracurricular:
Parliamentarian (student government) two years
Cross-country two-going on three- years
Band since 6th grade
Started Creative Screenplay Club w/ a friend junior year
Possibly National Honor Society senior year (I was going to get in junior year but didn't apply because I didn't think I was qualified-- turned out I was)
Outdoor Adventures Club at local community college for one year so far.
CNA training program

Awards:
VFW Essay Award (school level)
Michael C. Ferguson Award (state level award based on state testing scores)

Ethnicity:
Asian

Other info:
Certified CNA
Started a blog which I update regularly
First generation to go to college
Low-income background
OOS for all of these schools
Pretty good essay writer

I also once got a C in pre-calc the first quarter of my junior year... I brought this up though, and my overall average at the end was a 93 (or a low A). My grade for that class in the last quarter was a 97.

If I'm not a good fit for these schools, what are your suggestions?

However, I really do want to go to Smith; any advice on improving my application?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm quite nervous. :)

Please and thank you in advance!
