Your stats are definitely good. But, truthfully, Stanford’s engineering programs are extremely competitive, and the only activity that backs up your major choice is your that college engineering program. So, definitely play that up in your essays. Sorry, I don’t mean to stress you out or anything. It helps, admission-wise, that you’re a girl, but not that you’re Asian.

ACT: 35, but my SAT IIs sucked. I’m taking the October ones, but I don’t know if I want to send them in. I think my activities are pretty solid (I had some really cool internships — one as a research intern at Stanford and another at a Congressman’s office). I’m really hoping for my internships to really make me stand out and get me accepted, but not sure. I’m applying into the humanities (maybe polisci, english?). I’m an ORM, upperclass female. It’s not a lot of info, but plz just whatever thoughts you have.
