I applied to the Univeristy of Illinois of Urbana-Champaign. I have a 3.93 GPA and a 24 ACT score. I also have very stong Extra Curricular Activities. WHAT ARE MY CHANCES????

Your GPA is excellent, but your ACT is below campus average, which ranges from 26 - 31.

The admission selectivity also varies by college. Engineering and business tends to admit at more selective level.

Sang54 covers the important points. Though you have a strong GPA and good ECs, your ACT score is on the low side. You might consider retaking it or taking the SATs if you still have time.

More info, such as on your background (gender, family, etc.), school, courses taken, quality of recs/essays, specific ECs, volunteer work/internship, would be helpful.

It is not impossible to get in with a ACT of 24, some one from my high school got in with ACT 24, and a GPA of 2.7. Though in-state, it was a she(no amazing athlete or anything incredible, no famous parents, no legacy.) GPA tends to be more important than ACT scores (one guy in my grade wants to apply here but he has been told by GC, he has no chance with a 2.3 GPA and a 35 ACT).
Always have hope!
