What are my chances at these colleges?

<p>Hi all! I'm planning on applying to: U Penn, Carnegie Mellon, Boston University, Villanova University,Drexel, Penn State, University of Delaware and Howard University.</p>

<p>I'm a minority high school senior ranked 10/311. 2000 sat (1310). GPA is 4.2 weighted and 3.7 unweighted. I have a variety of leadership positions and extracurriculars including NHS. I volunteer regularly as well. I have had two internships, one current and online at theprospect.net (which you guys should check out because it has really good advice for college and life in general) and also one at a engineering entrepeneur compnay.
8 AP Classes by graduation, 12 Honors classes. I intend to major in Computer Engineering.</p>

AP Scholar with Honor
National Achievement Scholarship Outstanding Participant (waiting to here if i make it to the semi-finals)</p>

<p>I ranked my schools at the top in order from what I believe are my Reach-Safety schools. What are my chances of getting in?</p>

<p>Ignoring the ■■■■■ who insists on dumping stupid stuff in everyone’s thread:</p>

<p>Your SAT needs work, even as a minority student. Bumping it ~200 will open up many doors for you. Just by guess:</p>

<p>U Penn: High reach</p>

<p>Carnegie Mellon: Low reach if you can up your SAT scores and underline your interest in computer engineering in your app. Make this your ED school, possibly?</p>

<p>Boston University: Admit/match
Villanova University: Admit, I don’t know too much about it though
Drexel: Admit/Low match
Penn State: Admit/low match </p>

<p>Again, your GPA isn’t awful especially if its 3.7/4.0, and you seem to have heavy rigor. I’d try looking at other schools to add to your list, since I do see a bit of a gap in your list; some schools are really high reaches and others are lower matches. Try NYU, Northeastern, Boston College, Brandeis (don’t know about the last one in terms of CE)? These are in the same region, and might be worth looking at.</p>
