and have good recommendations

Waht are my chances of being accepted with aid to the above colleges?

Very slim. Those are all top colleges except Skidmore for which I have no idea. You should apply to far lower-ranked schools, as in schools that you can get into. And AID? Then absolutely no chance.

Hope you understand.

What's your TOEFL scores?

i come from an english speaking country so i dont think i need toelf

Please check your Inbox. I did send u a personal message :D

what colleges should someone like me apply to where i would receive aid

I'd suggest Liberal Arts colleges, 50-100th USNews Ranking

any of those colleges offer alot of aid to international students

Yeah, there is. You can scour the internet for statistical information on financial assistance for international students at Wabash College, Lyon College, Coe College, Yeshiva University, St. Olaf College, among many other generous institutions. Good luck then ;)

thx and how hard is it to get into berea college

is st. lawrence university a reach too because they are ranked 58

Colgate university- reach
Colby university- reach
Bates college- high match
Hamilton college- reach
St Lawrence university- match
Lafayette college- high match
Skidmore college- reach
Whitman College- IN

please chance me back....
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/612877-please-help-chance-me-i-m-nervous.html

Berea is EXTREMELY competitive. The student body is quite small, while Financial Aid/Scholarships are limited. Still, it's worth a try ;)

Btw, you stand little chances for Bates and Lafayette since, needless to say, these are reputed as "most selective" (you can refer to America's Colleges - US news to certify this)

should i apply to schools that are very difficult or moderately difficult

It depends though. Can you name some very difficult or moderately difficult schools that youre aiming for? But hey, don't blindly make a list of schools without even looking at their websites. In other words, it is a must to glean info from various sources and develop a personal sense whether you should apply or not.

I am applying to these and i am also applying for aid
* Coe C
* Connecticut C
* DePauw U
* Illinois Wesleyan U
* Lawrence U
* St Lawrence U
* Wheaton C (MA)

bump.........

To get significant aid at any school that does not meet need, your stats usually have to be at the top of the pool applying to the school. If you have something unusual to offer--you're from a country they don't get many applicants from, you're an athlete or URM or have an unusual EC, you might have a chance without being at the top.

You can look at the common data set for each school by using Google, type in 'Common data set Harvard' to see what it will take to be at the top. In general, internationals need higher stats than Americans.

bump........ ......,
