I am currently a junior, I have a 97 GPA, with at least 3 honors classes each year, I also have a very hard schedule my senior year taking 4 honors classes.
I don't have very many extra curricular activities besides captain of the basketball team, in National Honors Soceity, and I have been in Key Club for one year.
My SAT score is like an 1850 and I am going to retake them and I feel I can do better.
My Colleges I would Like to attend are:
Villanova
Bucknell
Dickinson
Duquesne
Pittsburgh
Franklin and Marshall
I have already talked to my guidance counselor and he said I can already get into Pittsburgh and Duquesne for sure but what about the other schools, I really like Villanova, can you help me figure out my chances for each school.

I think you have a very good chance at your schools.

GPA is good, EC’s and SAT scores aren’t very good. Also, taking 4 honors classes isn’t easy but I wouldn’t call it “very hard”. I think Villanova will be a low reach but with good rec’s and a good essay you have a good shot.

I think every one of your schools is a solid match or close to it. Good job at choosing the right schools and good luck!

so you think villanova isnt out of the picture, what should i do to improve my chances

Retake SAT and maybe show interest in the school, like visit it or something.

Alright I have already signed up to retake it, and I am going to visit Villanova in 2 weeks

That SAT shoots you out of the water. Even getting it to 1900 may help conquer an emotional hurdle for admissions officers to grant you the “acccept”.

F&M is in the bag, along with Dickinson, Dusquesnse, and most likely Pitt. Show LOTS of interst at Bucknell and good things will reward you. Villanova may be a lost cause if that SAT is stagnant.

Yes bring the SAT up - your GPA is fantastic but your SAT may cancel it out. GL! Study hard.
