What are my chances at these schools? Please help.

I'm considering applying to Rutgers New Brunswick, Boston University, Syracuse University, Penn State, University of Illinois Chicago, University of Maryland, and New York University. My uw gpa is 3.08, my weighted gpa is 4.4 and my sat score is 2010. i have received a 750 and 650 on subject tests. What are my chances at these respective schools. Please feel free to be honest. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Please someone help. Help would be of great assistance.

Is the University of Illinois Chicago the same as University of Chicago? If so, I would say your chances are not so great for that college since one of my friends who was ranked 2/800, sat 2240, 3.98 g.p.a, and some good ec’s got rejected. But that might just be a coincidence. ;D

Oh and your U.W g.p.a is quite low, what is your rank?

U of Chicago and U on I Chicago are not the same… U of I Chicago is a state school and U Chicago is a private.

UIC is different. And my rank is decent. Anyone know about my chances at the other schools?

NYU, BU are a reach
but you have a chance
Your in all the rest

UIC receives so few SAT scores, they don’t bother to publish the average. The average ACT score is a 24. Both GPAs look fine for most of the colleges. The one questionable college would be Engineering. I don’t know if they look more at weight or unweighted GPA. Your unweighted GPA is a little on the low end for the school; especially for the College of Engineering. UIC for an OOSer is very, very expensive.
