<p>I am a white male high school senior from Pamlico County, North Carolina (has VERY small 1A school) and I'm looking at a few colleges to go to next fall. I have a 3.2-3.3 weighted GPA and had a 1400 on the SAT I took in June. Although I plan to take the SAT again on November 5th and the ACT for the first time in December. I know my GPA isn't all that great, but I plan to bring it a little bit up this semester. I've taken 7 honors classes including 1 i'm taking now. I would of taken more but my guidance counselors wouldn't let me, I didn't meet the requirements, but was VERY close. I've taken AP US History and made a 77 in the class and am taking AP Calculus (AB) right now and am starting to bring my grades up in that class. </p>
<p>I plan to major in Computer Science and my first choice to go to college would be East Carolina University. I'm also applying to Western Carolina University, University of North Carolina - Charlotte, Apalachian State University, Campbell, and maybe NC State. I don't have too many EC activities, but did a little bit during 9th, 10th, and 11th grades. I played JV Baseball 9th and 10th grade, played Varsity Soccer 9th grade, used to be in Boy Scouts and did that in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade. I'm not in any clubs, but do plan on joining some. I'm thinking about joining FBLA and maybe the Science Club. </p>
<p>I'm just curious if I'd have a chance to get into any of the colleges listed? I know I might not get into NC State, but it's worth a try. I'm mostly just looking to see if I'd get into ECU and any of the others as a backup plan. Thanks and I'll definitely chance back to whoever chances me!</p>
