What are my chances at these schools

A sibling of mine is applying to colleges this year (as a senior), and I’m wondering what her chances are. My parents feel like she has a good chance at these schools, but personally I feel iffy about her chances, especially given her intended major.

Ethnicity: Asian
WGPA: 4.3
UWGPA: 4.0
Class Rank: around 8/100

SAT (1530) with Essay (22)
SAT IIs: Math II (800), Chemistry (790), Physics (760)
APs: Chinese with Listening (5), Calculus AB (5), World History (5), Calculus BC (5), Capstone Seminar (4), Literature (5)

Extracurriculars

  • Cofounder and Copresident of Art Club
  • Piano (reached and finished advanced level)
  • Draws in free time
  • 120+ hours volunteer work at food bank
  • Job experience as math tutor
  • First Place in school on AMC 12 (11th grade, score of 72)
  • Science Olympiad Participant (sophomore year)

I can’t think of any more extracurriculars or achievements/awards. She doesn’t have many. Also, personally I feel like it would probably hurt her application more or less by mentioning her AMC 12 score, since it’s not that much higher than the national average, and most people who apply for her intended major are probably at or above her level in math. Maybe I’m wrong about this.

Intended Major: Computer Science and/or Finance

Schools: MIT, UCLA, UC Berkeley

If she is applying to the CoE at MIT, UCLA, or UCB for Computer Science her chances aren’t great like the rest of the applicants. These Computer Science programs are so elite that no one realy has a “good chance” at gaining acceptance. If she is applying to L&S, for UCLA and Cal she probably has a much better chance of acceptance and her application looks quite strong. MIT probably expects higher scores on the olympiads unless she didn’t really have access to such opportunities her chance is low like everybody else.

@collegemom3717 Oh, sorry, I didn’t know about that. I’ll delete this post right away.
