agree with amptron. your sat maths score will really really help u

i know my chances are extremely thin, but do i even have a shot at any of my big reaches?

I think you certainly have a shot, but (im not being offensive here, it's fact) mostly only because of your african american heritage. Were it not for that, then you'd be waisting your time applying.

I actually think your chances are mediocre.

thanks guys for all your thoughts and input; all thats left to do is just wait for april

I think Bucknell is ur only match/safety, that's probably the only school you'll get in because of low gpa.

result.... didnt post this earlier im at carnegie SCS right now so i got in there, and i got into BU and Bucknell as expected, but i was turned down everywhere else

the 3.0 will kill you, although very few black girls can get 800 Math SAT1...maybe MIT will take you, although I wouldn't count on any of your big reaches.

Whoa, you made 800 on math section of SAT1, but only a 660 on Math level 2 subject test? You can definitely increase your chances by going for a retake (on Math level 2).

ummm, i think she's in college already, guys...

Can an admin close this?

Haha gotta love it when people post a year later on redundant chance threads :D

Lol.. I didnt even realize that till I read the last few posts....
