I will be entering my sophomore year at the 170th ranked national University. I am looking to transfer to NYU after this year. I know that NYU is a much better school.
My GPA should be around 3.55 for my collegiate career. I read the average transfer to NYU has 3.5. It also improved A LOT from my first semester.
My SAT score:
1980 (660 math, 680 reading, 640 writing).

What do you think my chances are at being accepted?

(NYU ACCEPTS ~30% of transfers!!!)

You’re applying from the 170th ranked school in the country? That’s considered a clown school by NYU…

of course it is, you’re so silly.

Maybe you’re offended that kids who didn’t work as hard in high school are presented opportunities to go to great schools after two years at an unimpressive one. You’re immature and wildly uninformed. I didn’t realize you had some sort of monopoly over good schools considering you don’t even go to one. It’s insulting.

Looking at your stats I hardly think you should be one to critique community colleges or low ranking universities. It’s hypocritical, uninformed, and in bad taste. You’re making an idiot of yourself and misleading others.

Well said Julia23!
