<p>These are my top three schools, I think I'm on the lower end for admissions and these are all reaches but I want to go to one of these schools so bad! What do you think m chances are at getting in?</p>
<p>I come from a middle/upper class family, I'm white and I go to a private parochial high school in California.</p>

Sir Thomas More Award: recognized as a quiet leader in my class that works hard regardless of recognition (awarded to around 10 people per year in my school of around 1000)
Honor Roll: every semester since freshman year; highest honor roll awarded both semesters of junior year
MVP of Volleyball: awarded mvp on varsity volleyball team
All-League Volleyball: recognized as one of the top volleyball players in my league</p>
<p>Community Service
Relay for life: have hosted a relay for life team for over 5 years, served as team captain for all five years, served as committee member for one year, awarded top fundraising team one year
South Dakota: selected to go on a service trip to an indian reservation in south dakota over the summer for a week
Domestic Poverty: selected to go on an immersion program through my school in which a group of guys live as if we are homeless for one day, culminated in serving dinner at a local homeless shelter
Senior Retreat Team: member of my school's retreat team in 12th grade, this club is only open to seniors, which organizes the retreats for the school and serves as the leaders on them
Big Brother: served as a mentor for two freshman to help them get acquainted to the atmosphere of my high school</p>

Water Safety instructor: 2 years, summer job where I taught swim lessons to kids (ages 3-15)
Water Safety Instructor Aide: 2 years, summer job where I assisted the WSI with the lessons</p>
<p>Extracurriculars
Model United Nations: 11-12th; served as member of MUN at my school, traveled to conference at UC Berkeley
Peace and Justice Club: 11-12th; vice president in 12th; this club promotes peace and justice issues in our school community by hosting events such as an annual food fast, and biannual bake sales to support specific causes such as AIDS or global poverty
CLC: Christian Life Community; small group that explores religion and also does service together; member since freshman year
Volleyball (High School): member of high school volleyball team since freshman year, freshman team (9) JV team (10) Varsity team (11-12); team captain in 10th grade
Volleyball (Club): member of competitive club volleyball team since 10th grade; captain in 10th grade</p>
<p>I consider myself to be a good writer so I believe that I wrote extremely good essays, not meaning to be snobby or anything, I just think they are really good.</p>
<p>Also if it matters, UC Berkeley has shown that they really would like me to play for their club volleyball team. This cannot help in the admissions process since they do not have tags however they are allowed to submit a Special Talent Form that the admissions people will see. This may help a little, a lot or nothing at all, I really don't know.</p>
