What are my chances at UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UCSB

Applying as Psychology major(counts as undeclared technically) for all UCs.- Letters & Science(Undergraduate)
UC (W) GPA: 3.72 (Not so high, but average)

ACT: 31, taking again on October 24th.

EC: Team Captain of Varsity Cross Country (3years), Team Captain of Varsity Swimming(3 years), Took care of kids from Somalia, Ethiopia(4years), Chad, UCLA Blue & Gold Scholars Program(2years), UCLA After School Program, Founder/President of Muslim Student Association(4years), President of Desi Club (4years), and MANY OTHER WELL KNOWN ECs STRONGLY RELATED TO INTENDED MAJOR. Also, I have a PHENOMENAL history for leadership! ECs are REALLY REALLY STRONG.

Total 9 AP Courses! Rigorous workload.
Took a psychology class, in which I received an A, at a community college during the summer of 11th grade. Took 2 classes the summer after 11th grade, receiving A’s on both classes.

Personal Statement (Essay) Both UC Essays- Reviewed by a student from Stanford whose major is creative writing (said it was OUTSTANDING), AP Literature teacher said “A very powerful P.S.” and UCSB admission counselor said “it is FANTASTIC and SUPER-POWERFUL”. So overall, both of my essays has been revised by great hands and it is well-written. I started it really early so I can get enough time to make it perfect, just how it turned out to be.

First in family to attend college. Parents have no education at all. I never had any academic support from family.

Although my GPA might not be the ideal GPA, due to personal issues perfectly explained in the P.S, but I have an outstanding leadership history which connects perfectly to my intended major, standardized tests score (above average for most UCs), and phenomenal extracurriculars.
Oh and I finished my UC apps already. Two months early. I was really prepared for it.
Sorry if I seemed like I bragged a lot. I’m just an average student who is worried about his college career because no one in his family has ever gone through something like this to tell him how everything works. Thank You for your help!

I bet you get into at least one - and probably 2 of them - but, your GPA makes that far from certain.

Apply to UCSC and UCR to keep from getting shut out.

Good luck

I’m also a California resident.

You are a qualified applicant except for your UC GPA. You also happen to be applying to a very popular major which means that the competition will be tough. Your HS course rigor is good, very good EC’s and if your essays are as good as claimed, these will help your chances but it will be up to Adcoms if they will overcome your lower than average GPA.

UCLA/UCB: Reach
UCSD: Low Reach
UCI/UCSB/UCD: High Match/Match

You do not have any safeties or solid match schools on your list. Heed @NCalRent’s advice and apply to UCR and UCSC. Throw in a Cal State as a safety.

Good Luck.
