What are my chances at UCs and CSU

oops i fail by not saying i took the ap exams for stats and psychology rofl. I got 4’s on both of them :(. Not good, but least i for sure get credit from all the UC :).

btw just some opinions, should i take the micro and macro ap exams even though I took the classes at a CC >.<. TY for feedbacks all of you :)

id say ur in for the low tier ucs (merced, riverside, santa cruz), sjsu, and sdsu. the rest look like reaches, even with those high SAT scores. and i though it was bad to take the SAT 4 times??

ive heard UC don’t really care how many times u take the SAT as long as its not too much. any other opinions :)

Bumpy Bump Bump :P. Any more feedbacks :D

bump bump bump :open_mouth: i got a questionaire from UCB today :O

You’ll get into UCR, UCM, UCSC, SDSU, SJSU and Pomona for sure (weakish GPA but you killed your SAT’s and your classes aren’t easy). SLO, UCI, UCSB, UCD are about 50% in my opinion. UC’s love the community service and stellar SAT score but hate low GPA’s so pretty much try flipping a quarter to decide your future. UCSD is weird. If you go from a CC, you have a really good chance of getting in (relative to UCI and UCSB) but if you’re in HS you have a very bad chance of getting in so i dont know if those CC classes will help but my guess would be 15%.

UCLA and UCB: 10% (and i’m being generous too).

I don’t mean to make you feel bad, just trying to be realistic. In HS, I had a 3.65 GPA and my SAT was at 1900 (i too had a ton of EC’s) and I didn’t get in UCSD or UCSB. I transfered from a CC with a 3.34 GPA and got into UCSD, UCSB, UCI, and UCLA just to give you an idea (engineering major though…). Try UC StatFinder to get an accurate guess…

hehe bump :D. Just want to thank lmendoza for his/her response  while looking at my past posts. Any other feedbacks is appreciated >.<.

Whoa I just realized this is a month old <.<. Please don’t flame me for reviving :(.

UPDATE: Got in UCM, UCR, and SJSU :D. Hoping for more great news
Oh and my 1st semester GPA for senior year was 3.5 UW and 3.83 W and No C :D.

The GPA is what kind of kills you. It’s not like it’s a bad GPA, but when you’re going for the UC’s it’s generally not gonna cut it. i think it’s UCSD/UCLA/UCB- high reaches, most likely rejections, UCD/UCSB/UCI- reaches, but with your SAT score you may have a decent chance, UCSC target (most likely in), UCR and UCM pretty much definitely in, and in to all the CSU’s except SDSU and cal poly SLO are targets but probably in.

UCSD - low reach
UCI - low reach
UCSB - match
UCD - match
UCSC - in
UCR - definately in
UCM - definately in

LA and berkeley are high reaches…
But hey, who knows?
