Seems you’re on the right track, you might want to try boosting GPA though, when you find out your SAT scores that might help quite a bit; try assuming leadership roles in ECs, that always looks impressive to colleges.

Your EC’s are awesome, your SAT’s are also on par, but your GPA…it definitely could be a lot better. Since you really can’t raise your GPA much now, I suggest studying for your SAT/ACT/SAT II’s. If you can score high(2000+), you have a much better shot of getting in. But honestly, as of right now, your chances aren’t that great. So go study! :D

I was accepted this year with a 3.5 W UC GPA, 2050 SAT, fairly difficult courseload, and some pretty solid EC’s.
Since your UC GPA is not your most appealing factor as an applicant, try to have something else to make up for it. Whether it’s SAT scores or EC’s, put alot of time into it and make sure it will make you stick out as an applicant. Good Luck!

You need a much higher SAT score to make up for the gpa. You still have a few more weeks, try your hardest to get that up. Seriously though, the average incoming GPA this year was 4.1, next year it may be higher. I suggest you study this summer and own the SAT in October, you need at least 2100 with that gpa. Also, you didn’t list any SAT 2s, study for these over the summer and get at least 700 in 2 different subjects.

Sign up for a rigorous senior year schedule, with lots of APS and stuff.
Join some clubs before the year is over, stay in them through next year, this is a nice bump for your college app.
