What are my chances at USC?

Hi! College apps are almost here and I was wondering what my chances are of getting into USC with my major being in Business Admin. and Management. I seriously don’t know what to expect >< I’m satisfied with my grades but my test scores and activities throw me off. (I reside in California-- Los Angeles to be exact.)

i’ll have my grades in parenthesis–ie. (first semester, second semester)
Freshman year, my first semester GPA was 3.80 and second semester was 4.00.
I took Beginning Band (A,A), English Honors (B,A), Biology (A,A), P.E. (A,A), Geometry (A,A), and Spanish 1(A,A).

Sophomore year, my first semester GPA was 4.17 and second semester was 4.17. I receieved straight A’s for both semesters.
I took English Honors, World History, Spanish 2, Intermediate Band, Chemistry Honors, and Algebra 2 Honors.

Junior year, my first semester GPA was 4.17 and second semester was 4.33.
I took AP Chemistry (A,A), American History (A,A), P.E. (A,A), Spanish 3 (A,A), AP English Language (B,A), and Trigonometry (A,A).

For my incoming senior year, I’m planning to take AP American Gov/Econ, AP Psychology, AP Statistics, Elementary Calculus, English, and Technical Theater. Hopefully, I’ll get straight A’s, but if I can’t, then I’ll try to get at most one B.

The last time I checked, my class rank was 46 out of 573 students in my junior year, and I’m in the top 8%tile in my class. My first SAT score is 1500, or “average”. I know the score is pretty low, but I’m still waiting for my other SAT score and also my ACT score. I will be on my school’s color guard team for three years (We’re pretty much a student-run performance group. While other groups have coaches and choreographers to help, we have to do everything by ourselves. Things such as setting up fundraisers, choreographing our routines, holding meetings and practices, etc) . I’ve volunteered at my local library every summer since freshman year and I’ve also been on many service clubs at my school such as key club, interact club, etc. I’ve also attended art school for almost three years, I don’t know if that will make an impact, though.

Any thoughts or advice?

You have to have at least a 2000 to be somewhat competitive for USC. 1500 is extremely low and your gonna need at least a 500 point boost which could be tough. Your rank and GPA are good though.

2000 is not competitive for USC. It depends on what kind of hooks you have.
