I did Running Start during high school and got my AA Biology DTA with a 3.90 GPA. I’m taking a year off to deal with my health and because I need to make money. I plan to take the organic chemistry series at a community college. 1260 on the SAT, did some EC, worked a lot. Will my year off impact my chances? And I heard that if you have over 100 transferable credits, it doesn’t look good…? Can someone ease my mind. I’m looking to apply for Fall 2018.
By taking additional credits outside of Running Start, you become a transfer student rather than a freshman, so the admissions rules change.
You will be evaluated on readiness for your major, so be sure to download the recommended pretransfer courses sheet and make sure you have as many as you can before applying.
