What are my chances at VCU, JMU, GMU, and UVA?

Zero chance for UVA, JMU, GMU, unless your antecedents have donated enough to have a building with their name on it, and then maybe 1%.

Who knows what VCU will do if you have something else (great) to offer, but still very low chance. They are getting more competitive by the year.

Your best bet would be community college with a 4.0 then guaranteed transfer. If you want to go the 4 year route right away (which, honestly, it seems you aren’t prepared for) then I would suggest Radford as an option. One of my daughter’s friends who had very poor grades in IB (but also had extreme personal circumstances to write about) got declined from VCU (parent works there) and JMU, but got into RU.
