so what are my chances??

possibly something in health related studies too

work on your essays, get good recs, send in an immaculate application, and get your SAT’s up. They are low.

so what percent is that chance? if everything else is good

slim, you have really low SAT’s for Wake Forest.
Unless you are a URM or being recruited for sports.

How does the “no SAT/ACT requirement” factor in?

idk?? what are you saying no sat

wake forest doesnt require you to submit an SAT score

I would say its a slight reach for you but you have decent chances

I was wait listed

bbbgirl, did you have an admissions interview? And, if so, how was it conducted? Skype/in person/ etc.

I’m shocked you were WL. But, your profile is so strong, I’m sure you’ll succeed whereever you go. :)

They do not do face to face interviews. It was an internet interview. Kind of weird. I signed on and they asked a series of short answer interview questions.

Yes, they do in-person interviews. My son had one last week. Maybe that’s new/different for the class of '10/'14.

I also did an in-person interview (class of 2010)

This past year they did 3 types of interviews: in person at Wake, via Skype, and the internet short answers described above.

When I visited Wake Forest they would not do an in person interview. I also requested an interview here in the Midwest and I was told the internet short answer was the only type available. Six classmates applied to Wake and all had short answer internet interviews. I am glad they are doing in person interviews. Boston college, where I was accepted but I am not attending, also would not do in person interviews.

Did you attempt to schedule an interview prior to your visit, or just hope to meet with an adcom during your visit? My son also had no difficulty scheduling an interview, in the fall, and planned his visit around this interview.
