I know my gpa could be higher, but I also slacked my freshman/sophomore years which really brought me down. I had a 4.1 last year and a similar gpa this year.

your gpa is awesome! is it out of 4? you are def a solid candidate. i think you are right on target

yes, it is out of 4. thank you so much it means a ton! i applied to about 12 schools, but i really liked wake, and i felt like it was a possibility for me. guess i’ll know in a few months!

Well if your GPA is a 3.85 unweighted you are in, but if it is a 3.85 weighted then I’m not so sure. But I have a feeling you will probably be accepted. I lol’d pretty hard at “recognized as gifted since 3rd grade” and “girl of the month award” haha.

yeah gifted means i’m recognized as a GIEP student in my school district (Gifted Individualized Education Program). in elementary school, it means you take what they call “challenge” which is basically an advanced english/creative thinking class. only about 5 kids from every school are in it. as you move on to jr/sr high, it allows you to take extra electives that others can’t.

and girl of the month is something our local newspaper chooses and then interviews you for. one high school senior a month. haha i guess thats what you get when you grow up in middleofnowhere, pennsylvania.
