Hi, I’m a senior from Minnesota and am looking to study International Relations. I’d love to get into William & Mary’s Joint Degree Program with St. Andrew’s in Scotland, but I’m not sure what my chances are.
ACT- 32, with 31 Math, 30 Science, 34 Reading, 34 English, and 36 Writing (which I know isn’t as important)
SAT New- 1360, with 690 Reading/Writing and 670 Math
APs- Spanish Language and Culture 4, US History 5, World History 5, Calculus BC 5
Additionally, I went to a Spanish immersion school in elementary and am taking a SPAN 3015W class at the University of Minnesota this year. (along with AP Macro, AP US and AP Comparative Gov)
ECs- Varsity Softball Captain, previously captain of both JV and Sophomore team when I was on those & am in 10th year of softball
NHS Service Officer
On board of community service based club where we’ve raised hundreds for various food shelves
Currently in rec basketball for third year, played since third grade for travel team
Band council member voted second consecutive year
WEB Leader in freshman year (leads new students around school, went to a jr high that housed freshmen)
Third year of leading 6-8 graders at my church
Calculus tutor after school
If anyone could provide any insight on what my chances of getting accepted into the Joint Degree Program are like that would be extremely helpful, as I am trying to narrow down my college list as senior year is starting back up! I know that it’s hard to say without an essay, but again, any insight on test scores/anything at all would help, thanks so much!
